PLACES TO VISIT
Mumbles Pier: Visit the
lifeboat house on the Pier and see the lifeboat.
Swansea
Marina: ideal for a leisurely walk to view the
yachts, have a coffee or drink and be entertained by the
street performers.
Worms
Head, Rhossili: call at the National Trust Rhossili
Visitors Centre, which is an ideal starting point to
discover and explore the natural beauty of the area. Walk
down to the Worms Head Causeway. Spectacular views of
Rhossili Bay. The centre holds exhibitions concerning
conservation and local life. The National Trust shop
sells gifts, maps, guides and books and is open all year,
but call on (01792) 390707 to check times etc.
Brecon
Mountain Railway: narrow gauge railway running from
Merthyr Tydfil through the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Open daily in season, for times call 01685 384854.
Joes Ice Cream Parlour, St
Helens Road Swansea. Well worth a visit. Brilliant ice
cream the kids will love it!
