The Farmers Arms was built in the 1850s and
until 30 years ago it was a public house. It is ideal for a quiet,
relaxing holiday. The accomodation can be used as two separate cottages
or can be used together, accomodating 9 people.
It has been restored to a modernised,
traditional, three bedroomed Gower Cottage. The property has the
benefit of propane gas central heating/hot water, double glazing, and
is fully furnished, with a full range of kitchen equipment, utensils
etc.
The property backs on to farmland. The
unspoilt Broughton/Whitford beaches are a 5 minute drive away and the
Whitford Burrows National Trust conservation area is a 5 minute walk
away. There are many public footpaths, offering spectacular views.
Llanmadoc is a small, friendly village on the
north west coast of Gower, approximately 15 miles from Swansea, and a
3½ hour drive from London. The village has a public house
with a good restaurant, a children's play area and a beer garden .
Accommodation
The sitting room is furnished with two
sofa's, occasional furniture, colour TV and dvd player and open
working
fireplace. There is a separate dining room with table and chairs and
occasional table/stand. The entrance to the kitchen is off the dining
room; the kitchen is fully equipped with storage units, electric
cooker, fridge, freezer , microwave oven, dishwasher and washing
machine.
There are three bedrooms, all with storage
space; a double room with wash handbasin, with a small nursery/boxroom
leading from it, which contains a cot; a twin room, and a single room.
The twin and double have stripped oak floors. The single room has fine
views to the rear over the Estuary and coast towards Pembrey.
The bathroom has recently been re-fitted with
shower/bath, toilet and wash basin.
Gas central
heating - all hot water/heating
is included in the price. Cot and Highchair provided. No pets. Duvets
on beds. No smoking. Sleeps 5.
Outside
Surfaced forecourt area at front, with ample
parking for a number of vehicles. At rear, private garden, with
Barbeque, patio
and garden furniture.

Local activities
Walking, windsurfing, horse riding, golf,
fishing, cycling and abundant bird and wildlife.
The Annexe
This a two bedroomed self contained annexe,
which sleeps 4. It is available separately or with the main house,
sleeping 9 altogether.
The Annexe comprises an open plan
lounge/diner/kitchen. The lounge has two sofa's, colour tv and dvd
player,, and wood burning stove in the inglenook fire place.The dining
area has a table and chairs and the kitchen is fully equipped with
storage space, cooker, fridge,microwave and dishwasher. Upstairs
there is a double bedroom and gallery
landing, with bunk beds, and a separate bathroom.
Gas central
heating. Travel cot. No pets. Duvets on beds.No smoking.Garden and
patio area to rear with patio furniture.BBQ.

basis all year round, or for long weekends during the winter.
